Make an appointment and drop in for a consultation with the staff at Yarning Hearts**.

Save when you book packages! Enquire with the staff on duty on how you may lock in your consultation rates at a lower price with our packages.

**Consultation is dependent on available knowledge of staff. In the event a staff is not able to provide the consultation, it will be made known to the client.

Originating from rural Japan, Sashiko began as a way to mend and strengthen garments, evolving over centuries into a refined art form. Its beauty lies in simplicity—geometric patterns inspired by nature, each imbued with regional and cultural meaning.
In this 3-hour workshop, you’ll be guided through the meditative rhythm of sashiko stitching. As you draw the needle through the fabric, you’ll learn patience in its simplicity, precision in maintaining even spacing, and resilience in embracing the small imperfections that make each piece unique. It’s a gentle reminder that beauty often arises from quiet, intentional effort.
