Online Group Puppy Class
I'm absolutely delighted to offer my puppy class right from the comfort of your own home. We have been frequently asked to support puppy owners outside of our local area and ive found online classes are brilliant for new puppy classes
The advantages of attending our online training:
- Classes are held weekly in life format all from the comfort of your own home, absolutely no travelling necessary.
- There is no age restriction, you can begin training your puppy as soon as they arrive home and are ready to learn.

7. Social Sniff Club
🐾 What is Social Sniff Club?
A woodland session for dogs who can cope around others- but benefit from gentle support, structure, and space.
We will walk together in a small group (Maximum of four), taking in the natural environment through sniffing, exploring, and light movement games. There's no forced play, no pressure to perform - just calm coexistence, guided by a qualified trainer, that's me 😀
This isn't a free for all social or obedience class. It's a chance for you and your dog to build real world confidence, around others, at their own pace - while you learn how to support them through thoughtful handling and observation.
Woodland adventures. No chaos. No pressure. Just sniffing, space, and support
✅ Pre-requisite : You must have attended a free 15 minute meet and greet if you've not worked with me before. During our free meeting and greet you and your dog will meet me for a gentle, no pressure introduction. This helps me assess your dogs comfort level around others and ensure the group will be a safe, positive experience for everyone involved.
📍Held at various locations near Woodhall Spa, the October 2025 sessions are held at Snipe Dales Country Park

The 6-week puppy Class (Sunday 12.30-1.15)
6 Week Puppy Class
Our puppy training course runs over six weeks, 45 minutes each week, and his age for puppies age 9 to 20 weeks (Approximately). Older pups welcome if suitable
In this course you will learn how to teach a puppy important foundation behaviours and life skills. We cover behaviour such an attention and focus, come when called, stay, find it, drop and other basic training exercises. Your puppy will also learn how to focus on you and stay calm in the presence of distractions (such as other puppies and owners).
This is also a great way to socialise your puppy with other puppies, humans and the perks of a new environment.
Instructions
Learning is best to achieve through positive reinforcement and lots of rewards. Therefore, please bring lots of high-value treats cut up into small pieces. I find a training pouch can be really useful, but it is not essential and we do have some spares that can be used during class.
Have your dog on an ordinary lead (not a slip lead, or a retractable one), feel free to bring a long line with you if you have one although we do have a number of these that can be used should you need them. Bring a mat (we will use this a lot), old towel or a blanket and water for your dog - I find nonslip bath mats work well.
The class is outside, therefore please dress accordingly, and bring anything that will make your puppy comfortable for e.g waterproof coat or fleece.
What You’ll Need
- A flat collar or harness ideally (no slip leads, choke chains or retractable leads please)
- A standard lead
- Lots of tasty treats (chopped up small - JR Pet pate works brilliantly for training)
- A favourite toy (or two)

Puppies must have completed their vaccinations to attend the practical sessions.

Perfect for adolescent or young dogs
If you're starting out on your training journey with your dog, want to revisit the basics before diving into more complex training, this is a brilliant place to start. I find that as puppies transition from puppyhood into adolescence, it's often helpful to revisit the most important foundation skills.
This course will cover all the important foundation behaviour is such as:
- Giving you attention and staying engaged
- Walking nicely on a lead
- Leaving and dropping objects
- Patiently waiting while you walk away from them
- Other foundation skills
Our classes are small so we can give you the time, space and support to make progress. Whether you have an excitable puppy, a boisterous teenager or an adult set in their ways, we tailor our course content to ensure you’re working at the right level for your dog.

Suitability
This course is for dogs over 19 weeks old who are comfortable working in the presence of other dogs and can focus on their owner in a group setting. Dogs are best when they're comfortable and relaxed with their environment. Group classes are best beautiful for dogs that can stay relaxed and focus when close to other dogs, we would recommend one to one or an online training class if your dog gets overexcited, barks, lunges, vocalises or shows stress in the presence of other dogs or humans - this way you can learn techniques to help your dog relaxed with distractions around before venturing into other training
Please note: This is a foundation course with an introduction to a variety of everyday life skills. For more focus on a particular topic, such as recall and lead skills please see out specialist courses.

Expand your dog's skills
If your dog has good training foundations already and knows most of the basic skills, and you like to solidify stretch those skills, this course will help you achieve that.
This course is not only a great way to challenge your dog a bit more but also to build the bond you have with them by cracking more complex exercises, building your dogs problem-solving skills and mastering working with greater distraction, duration and distance
In this course we offer more advanced exercises such as coming away from distractions, problem-solving exercises, waiting patiently whilst you leave them, leaving and dropping objects, walking nicely on a lead and an emergency stops and we may be able to sneak in a trick or two

The Easy Peasy Puppy Class (Monday 6.15-7pm)
The Easy Peasy Puppy Class
The Easy Peasy Puppy Class gives your puppy the very best start in life with kind, practical training you can use every day. Easy Peasy puppy course is run over eight weeks with a qualified easy Peasy puppy instructor, this longer course includes extra help with nipping and toileting issues, as well as more advanced training exercises such as emergency stop, chin rests et cetera all the usual puppies content is covered such as reflex name, lead walking, recall etc. The course has run over eight weeks with a midway gap for rest and recap. You will also receive access to our online training, or you can watch all the individual exercises at home to accelerate your training. The first session is done via zoom at home helping you overcome some of the common at home challenges that new puppy owners face.
There is a private Facebook and WhatsApp group where you will receive extra hints and tips as well as being able to ask for advice between sessions

Behaviour Improver Class
Behaviour Improver Class
Our improver behaviour classes are designed to take your training further while continuing track progress through our training progression plan. Dogs and rosettes as they pass each grade.
In grade 2 and three, we focus on:
- Emergency stop
- Distance control
- Sending your dog to a marker point
- Sit downstairs with longer duration
- Search and retrieve to hand
- Loose lead walking with turns
- Plus much more
This class is designed so they can remain in class for as long as you wish - working at your own pace. Classes run and line with local school terms, with brakes at half term
